It's great to see our favourite idea from our design sprint with Z on reimagining the Future of Loyalty hit the market.
Sharetank leverages insights unearthed through empathising with customers and discovering critical pain points, i.e. “Why is fuel pricing variable across town?"
Sharetank takes the best Z price within a 30km radius and allows you to lock in that price. Moreover you can bulk buy your fuel and it can be shared with up to 5 others.
It’s a true driver of loyalty, delivering a 2 way exchange of value between Z and their customer. Loyalty is so often geared in favour of the brand, or is a passive, zero emotion, low value experience but I believe Sharetank has the potential to deliver enduring customer value and is primed to break the ‘convenience’ purchase behaviour in favour of brand preference driven by value.
Embracing ‘shareability’ also allows us to tap into the emotional fuelled by common societal norms such as parents funding their kids fuel needs. Or community generosity like gifting those in need, as we’re seeing with the likes of MyFoodBag being gifted to recent widows by their friends and family, or a kind soul gifting meals to an elderly neighbour.
